Genesis Paint Not Curing

I tried mine straight out of the jar and thinned with Mona Lisa. They didn’t cure either way.

If her thinning medium cures it might give the paint some curing properties, especially if the ratio has more thinning medium

I only mention it because I use my GHSP this way for lips… so I personally would test them that way as well.

That is what my bad ones are like too. Hers look thicker than mine.

They look like the Authentic Reborn paints to me, but I haven’t had trouble with AR curing (but I haven’t bought any new paints in at least 5 years.

I’m starting with the test, on a skya leg, the most intense middle color is directly from the jar, the one on the right is with thinner and the one on the left with thinking medium

I agree with you on the Authentic reborn paints, I love them. I’ve been using them for years

Any news?

I would consider your Magenta 01 and her Pyrrole red 05 not curing. And the flesh 04 has some that comes off… but that one might be okay… due to painting thinner when reborning.

Did anything come off with these ones?

So in conclusion, In the first bake they did not cure magenta 01, pyrrole red 05, sap green, and a little of the raw umber when I wet the q-tip.
Flesh 07 There was only a little transfer but very little, I think it’s okay.
So the ones that healed well were flesh 04 and flesh 07 and magenta 07.
The best result I saw was with the thinning medium genesis vs thinner and direct from the jar.
Then make another bake, and this time I pass a damp cloth with water all over the surface, and notice that only a little of magenta 01 came out, but very little, I can bake for a third time today and we can see if this time the paintings stay in place

Did you bake with a thermometer in to check actual heat temp inside?

I don’t have a thermometer, but I put the oven to 130° C / 266° F (I think the conversion to farenheit is fine, in my country we use degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes.
I also use a different diluent to Monalisa which is the one I get in my country, I’ll upload a picture of that too.
Maybe I I have to get a thermometer.
