If you were queen of all things reborn what would you change or make better? All eyes would have a tinted sclera and all false lashes would have a clear band. I seriously don’t understand why this isn’t standard.

Preemie, newborn, big chunk? I like newborns best but Landon asleep is a sweet chunk of love.

Sleeping or awake? Awake is cool but if I collected I would want asleep. The thought of a baby never being able to close its eyes gives me anxiety.

Smiling or crying? smiling, we need more smiling babies.

Ethnic, AA, pale? I like ethnic best, wish I could do AA (it is so hard to do it well) pale babies are cool too but Ethnic babies just seem to get my attention.

The most awful? I made a crap alien that landed in the dust bin and I did a horrid, I mean Horrid Celeste and Willow when I firs started.

Advice for new reborn artist? Buy a cheap sculpt and just have fun, take your time. If you don’t have fun, if it doesn’t bring you joy don’t do it, it won’t be worth it.

What you wish reborn collectors knew? To trust your artist. Pick a really good artists and you never have to worry, you will get a good baby.

If you were queen of all things reborn what would you change or make better?

I think it would be cool to have affordable silicone that attach to cloth bodies. I would also wish that the vinyl that make our kits out of was a little softer. I would have a magic wand and get rid of made in China reborns (that are not reborns) and give all reborn custom “artists” that like to scam people a lot of back hair and hemorrhoids.

• Be prepared to spend a lot of money and not get it back for the first year or two. Buying BB kits when starting out is the best to practice with but as you progress; buying the “popular” reborn kits will be more profitable.

• Reborns are NOT cheap to make, especially when they want an ultra realistic baby for a Walmart play doll price.

If you were queen of all things reborn what would you change or make better?
• I would change the minimum price of selling reborns lol…only because when a few people sell very cheaply, it cheapens the art and people are comfortable asking for a reborn for under $100 free shipping and the worst part is there are many people offering babies for that amount. Then later the buyer will complain about being “scammed” because the baby isn’t top quality or it will just affect the way they think and consider reborn babies. Also: everyone who produces and knowingly buys an illegal kit will be heavily fined until they stop!

******Better to go light on the paint and not have enough because too much can look very unforgiving. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Look at lots of photos and be inspired by what you see.

The most awful? The second, BB Liam.

Advice for new reborn artist? Only buy kits you actually like, don’t be pulled on by a good sale.

What you wish reborn collectors knew? Nothing.

If you were queen of all things reborn what would you change or make better? I would make more of the 18-19” babies chunky, and also ensure that all of us got paid the big bucks
