Foot and hand creases

Please if you know a trick to getting clean creases on soles of feet and palms of hands I NEED HELP!!!
No matter how thin I dilute my paint (ghsp) or thinning medium I get chalky or dirty creases on soles and palms. Of course there are too many tiny creases on soles and palms to try to crease all of them. I am talking about paint accumulating in creases from all the layers of washes and blushing.

I go over them each layer with a dry brush but I still always end up with a tiny bit of paint buildup. When I do my main creasing layer I don’t do it thin at all. I use quite thick paint because I don’t want to go over them a million times. Here’s a pic of my creasing mix, it’s just quin crimson and a few drops of odorless thinner and how the creases looked on a finished baby.

I don’t know maybe it’s just normal to have a little bit of crease buildup on the soles of the feet. I mean with some babies they have a bunch of little tiny creases and wrinkles that it is so hard to get the paint out of all of them otherwise you’ll just wipe the paint off the entire foot

I typically have a bit that I can’t get out. It generally isn’t a huge deal but if there’s a lot then try a toothpick to clean them out before baking.

If you ever get a chance to use powders, they are awesome for creases!

I like the powders. I just gotta figure out the right colors to use.

I always drag the excess out with a dry brush, pounce with a wedge edge, etc.

I’m with you, IDK how many times I’ve stripped summer rains feet and repainted. I’m still not happy but I’m moving on! It is hard!

That’s what I do, too ~ I don’t like paint caked in the creases
