So I have a custom order. It’s my first Filipino skin tone and I have to say I’m a little nervous cause most if my babies have been white. So question is, any recipes for a good skin tone for this baby using GHS Paints? TIA
Darker skin tones are best accomplished by applying wash layers of red, yellow and blue. As you progress you can see if the baby needs more red or yellow, or to be toned down by the blue. I bake after about every 3 layers, and let each layer dry completely.
@emilybb - this one did not show up as “new” or with a "blue circle either???
Im trying to think of colours I would mix… I like to experiment with different skintones. I think yellow more then reds as they have more a Asian skintone. so I would suggest flesh 4, yellow, flesh 4 and see where you are there. I would mix some yellow with the flesh 4 too. but then depends on how dark you want to go as their skintone varys. so could go a flesh 3 as well. I did a Vietnamese custom order not that long ago and they were the colours I used.
good luck, hope to see some photos when your finished.

(Although, I do like the shorter username and will probably be easier for people to type quickly LoL )
I am set to “tracking” and am still not getting notifications on most posts!
Not sure I understand what your note means!
