Ebay-Paypal Shipping

Has anyone ever sold on ebay and then purchased their shipping labels? I ike the idea of saving money on shipping with the ebay discount but not sure how it all works? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I don’t sell on EBay anymore but I still print my labels at home through PayPal and Etsy. I love it. No more standing in long lines at my post office. Do you have a shipping scale? You will need one of those.

no I don’t if I put in what I think and it weighs and it ends up being more can I pay the difference at the post office? I only want to do it that way because of the ebay discount it saves me 44% on shipping.

Shipping scales are fairly cheap. I bought mine off Ebay 10 years ago for $30. It’s still going strong. I use it to weigh my babies too so I can write that in their birth certificates. I’m not sure if you can pay the difference or not at the PO. I’m surprised Ebay gives such a big discount like that. That is awesome!

I do it for all my sales, but NO you cannot pay the difference at the PO… You just have to enter the correct weight (here we also need size) into your listing, and the postage cost gets added to your monthly ebay fees once you process the label. However you can edit that when creating the label; for instance if the customer requests using different service. If for some reason the sale gets cancelled (within certain time) the money gets credited back to your account.

I bought my postage scale on eBay… It was super cheap. Honestly, I use it all the time… It’s one of my all time best purchases!

I bought mine on ebay as well, but I am not sure how accurate it is. I need to compare it with the post office I think.

I have digital bathroom scales and I weighed it on them then took it to post office and they were spot on oz for oz that is how I have been weighing the babies after birth also.
