Does anyone know of an easy to follow tutorial? For an easy/plain hair tutorial. I don’t think I’m quite ready to try out the fancy swirls, but I would love a tutorial for an easier design. Has anyone seen/used one? Thank you.

Lol! I meant easy design. I’m not confident enough to tackle the fancy swirls. Figured I would get tht simple straight hair down before going near anything else. Does that make sense?

It isn’t hard at all, the block is that people look at hair done by artists who have put a lot of hours in and think they woke up painting hair like that.
Get the basics and paint, paint, paint.
I am on like my 200th (Ok maybe not that many but it feels like it) baby and I am still learning
-and make sure that when you learn from someone that you make that your jumping off point not your template. What makes these babies better than all the other dollies out there is that no two are ever alike and every artist has something unique to bring to the table.

@Gabriell paints the BEST hair. I say that because… I am the biggest painted hair snob… and I can NOT paint hair to save my life. Her hair is awesome… and I have seen it in person… and it’s even MORE AWESOME. Yup, true!

My best advice is to keep your mixtures thin in the beginning. You can always darken later, but for your paint to look nice and smooth, it has to be a slow build. Also if you like what you see, bake it! That way you won’t accidentally bump it and mess it up.
