Christmas layette swap 2019

Okay, let’s get this party started! It’s time for our second annual Christmas layette swap. If you don’t know what that is, look for the thread from last year. I’ll even post it in the comments. In short, think of it as buying a super sweet baby shower gift with a winter holiday them…an outfit and coordinating accessories as described in the rules. I would say mail any time before Easter that way everyone will have their packages by Easter. Easter is on April 12th so at least by the 7th.

Hey,
Just checking in if we are still good for the swap? I’m wondering if people will be able to get out to purchase items since so many places are shutting down. I was going to try and go out today before more restrictions are put in place. I thought about shopping online but my person has requested some specifics that I can’t find when I looked. What are your thoughts on the swap as of now?

I went and shopped this afternoon. So I’m set for my person. Hopefully everyone will have stores open when the shop. It’s deserted in my area and stores have reduced their hours.

@Adorablecreations I am in a small town with only two clothing stores Beals, which is changing its name and merchendise, and Walmart of course. I was hoping that hand made and gently used would work. It would work for me. What are your and everyone’s thoughts? Otherwise I will order online praying that things will arrive in a timely manner.

I bought something online but then went to the store today and found something. I was worried about the date it would arrive.

@AtticFlowersDollArt I have someone who is suppose to ship tomorrow and I know a few have already bought things. I think it might be a good thing in all this mess.
