Dolls of the World questions

Hey hey!
I’m coming to the show but I see there are all kinds of rules.

Here are my questions:

How many of you are selling? I want to try to make my rounds to see people.

What is the rule about bringing a dolls?

Oh yayyy!!! I can’t wait to see you! You can bring one baby onto the showroom floor with you. They’ll give you a little bracelet for it so when you leave they will know it’s yours and you didn’t steal it from the show.

Me, @Katinafleming, @RosieCait, @YelenaRey, and @Shara are all together along this back wall!

@ellakabella is correct about the little bracelet! I wanted to add, just in case you’re curious, if you purchase a doll, it will come with a purchase card so you are able to leave the show floor with it!

I’m vending, table 61 :heart::strawberry:

Are people allowed to bring kids? Are there stroller requirements for real kids?

Only umbrella strollers are allowed in the showroom.

Thank you!

I would ask Bobbi or Melody Hess if you need specifics.

I think most requirements are for the dolls specifically. I can’t imagine them having rules when it comes to equipment.

Are you bringing Nadia to see the dolls?

I just hope all those people bringing strollers do not overwhelm the aisles. It is going to be a tight space in the booths and such from what I keep hearing. I remember the first day in Kasas this year I was near panicked being stuffed in there amidst all those people and strollers blocking every space! I really wish they were not allowed for anything other than real children.

I know they have the umbrella strollers only rule.

I assume the rule doesnt mean things like wheelchairs, or other medical devices.

I also agree that they should do no DOLL stroller in the show room, classrooms, or events.

I have seen at least one person say she was going to tell people strollers are not allowed inside her booth because she has such a tight space. I guess this means they will be parking them in the aisle in front of her booth? Having a stroller taking up space in front of tables takes up enough room for another person to be looking at the items. I guess I am the stroller curmudgeon!

It reminds me of shopping with carts. Ugh. I never understand why people block aisles.

I think the whole stroller thing is ridiculous and rude honestly. I can see them strolling around for meet ups and outings etc. However, when it comes to the actual show floor where vendors have put out a lof of expense, time and work to sell products the attendees should be respectful of the space.

The shoppers are anxious to show off what they brought to the show. I appreciate that and if it weren’t for collectors, there wouldn’t be any reborn artists or shows!

I think if they are bringing a newborn size baby they could wear it in a carrier and save space

I totally get that and agree but I just think the show floor is not the place for it. Meet ups happen all the time in the lobbies and such. People take their babies to dinner with them and all the other places they go. It is definitely a wonderful part of the show but it just makes for a very congested show floor having all the strollers. It just seems to me show floor space should be devoted to access for the traffic flow. I am sorry if I sound mean, I do not mean to be. I just get very anxious in tight crowded spaces. Anyways, it is what it is and we will all manage it.

I wanted to come back here to say a lot of ladies were sitting in the lobby last night with their babies and chatting. It was so lovely! I enjoyed going around and meeting new people and seeing their babies. Everyone is like a proud Mama is with a real newborn. It is so sweet! There are so many friendly people and excited faces! It is just wonderful!
