I’m not going to stress it. I have about 25 partially done dolls, 5-6 completed dolls, and about 10 more that I want to paint. I’m also doing the Kansas Doll Show. So my plan is to take whoever is done in time to Raleigh. Then when I get back I’ll work on finishing others. Whoever is ready in time for Kansas will go to Kansas. Also, any leftover Ralebabies will go to Kansas. Then after that whoever is still not finished can be finished for Christmas babies. And we g course leftover babies from Kansas will be Christmas babies too. With so many dolls on my pegboard or in a bin waiting for hair…I really have to hope I can’t finish them all because that’s too many for one single table.
Good thing you paint fast though. At your rate you can still finish 30-50 dolls in time if you want to.
People may have covered this already but will there be a way you can order the tickets online? (To attend the show, not as a vendor) I’d be worried about traveling to the show and being told all tickets sold out because they were only being sold in person.
They won’t sell out. Bobbi and Melody would never turn away anyone who came so far. I don’t know how they will handle it if it gets super crowded. But I’m sure turning people away won’t happen.
You can order tickets on the website. I have mine. They are e tickets.
Oohh, I guess I better get there early both days.
Are you staying at the hotel? If so, Friday go pick up your tickets. Follow the Facebook page to find out more info. And I’ll try to remember to come back and post any new information that I see. I’m sure Bobbi will announce when and where to pick up tickets Friday.
Haha I only have two babies ready for the show I really need to pick up the pace. I haven’t even planned out my table or baby outfits or anything at all!
I would say that you are in a great shape and have nothing to worry about.
I have so many to root
@Katinafleming Wow! I have never had that many babies in process at one time. What I have now is the most. You will be well prepared.
@YelenaRey I look forward to seeing all your beautiful babies! Rooting definitely slows things down but a nicely rooted baby is so beautiful! I wish I were still able to root. All my silicone babies will be going bald and the buyers will have to get them rooted elsewhere. That is the only way I can do them.
@RosieCait I don’t think I have ever seen one of your babies in person. I very much look forward to that as well. I am hoping my hubby will sit at my table and let me browse at some point.
@ellakabella Your babies are also so lovely and I know you will have some real beauties there!
I’m not staying at the hotel. My daughter lives 15 minutes away from the hotel so I’m staying with her.
I do follow the Facebook page. Apparently Facebook is not showing me all the posts. I’ll go like a few posts and get them back in my newsfeed.
Yessssss! But trying not to stress. I have 7 babies completed and assembled, 1 halfway through hair and one cuddle baby head ready for hair. I have 6 more kits I definitely plan on painting. I have about 80% of my supplies/table decor ready. And all my outfits are here but some still need soaked, whitened, steamed, etc as mine are all vintage…
I’d love to see all of the babies you ladies paint. I’ve never seen another reborn in person besides my own😂
I see a lot talking about dressing their babies in Peter Rabbit theme but I just don’t have the funds to do all that. I have plenty of nice dresses and such already so my babies will just be in normal clothing.
Some of mine will have Peter Rabbit outfits. But most will be dressed in regular clothes. And I have bought several Beatrix Potter stuffed animals for some of them, and one Peter Rabbit pull toy for one of my standing babies. As for my table, I bought this tablecloth.
And I have considered buying this backdrop since I’m against the back wall. But the only backdrop holders I’ve seen have feet that stick out pretty far. And I don’t want a tripping hazard.
Beautiful! I have plenty of themed props. I may end up doing some embrodery rabbits on a few things but once again all depends on my time schedule.
Yes I think a lot of babies will be in PR clothing! None of mine will, lol. The only clothing item I have that is Peter Rabbit is a vintage bonnet.
I am not dressing mine in PR either. If moms want to have PR, they can buy outfits at the show.
If any of you vendors are interested in Peter Rabbit cuddle bodies, contact @RoseannsBoutique. I don’t know if she gets on here much anymore. But you can find her on Facebook. Look at this cute cuddle body she made. And I just had her make me 2 newborns size ones like it. Therefore a couple of my cuddle babies will be Peter Rabbit themed.
She also made a bunny one recently. I bet she would be willing to make more.
