Does anyone here just make babies for themselves?

I dont want to sell mine but i fear i wont progress if i dont sell them. Im not sure what i should do really. Carry on or sell my remaining stuff

Majority of the babies in my collection are made by me! Whether theyre kits that I bought for myself or they grew on me while I was painting and I decided to hold onto them before selling.

Sell …… you don’t seem to have the patience or confidence to reborn…

Just like everyone else that starts painting Reborns, you will spend sooo much money before you’re ever able to start selling dolls. And even then you’ll probably take a loss. This is an expensive hobby. Sell your supplies to recoup some of your money and find a hobby you enjoy. If you want to be creative do some scrapbooking or diamond art.

I feel like this has given you more stress than enjoyment. Take a break for a while.

That is a decision only YOU can make, no one here can help you with that. It might be best if you sold what you have and find something that is easier and quicker for you. Good Luck going forward.

I love painting. I just feel so discouraged due to the disaster that happened to my first painted doll. I stripped it and it turned out yellow underneath the paint.

Yes, and as most told you, thats absolutely normal when kits gets stripped. And anyone (almost every single artist) has had to strip a kit and had yellowing. Completely normal, at that point you either start over or start another kit. The confidence or discouragement is the deciding factor here. Everything that has happened in your journey has happened to most everyone else. Some quit and some keep going. If yoi decide to keep going you have got to stop being so down about it. Reborning shouldnt be depressing. If it is, then please stop. Its hard for anyone to help you when it seems we arent helping your painting, but rather your emotions behind it. Dont do things that dont bring you joy.
