Hello… I put up for sale this Lil Prem (authentic) because I need some space and would like to get new kits and experiment. Since she is not perfect (heavy mottling), I am aware I cannot ask for much. The price I established, considering kit and materials and a very small profit for me, is 230€. Someone offered 170€. I refused immediately. I will probably end up adjusting the price if she doesn’t sell but it’s really discouraging… I am aware she is imperfect but I don’t believe she deserves to be sold for that low… any suggestions? Has it ever happened to you? I’ll leave here some pics of her in natural lighting. As I said, I know she is not a high end reborn.
I think she is adorable and well worth your asking price!! ![]()
Well…you know I like colorful babies so I love this one. Don’t sell yourself short…she is NOT a boo-boo!
I think you asking price is more than fair, so don’t go any lower.
You need to point extras to your buyer - rooted hair, belly plate, that she is not a cheap kit, etc.
She will sell, just give t a time. Don’t sell yourself short!
Thank you @YelenaRey @cherielynn09 and @pia for your insight
just wanted to be sure the price wasn’t crazy high
Don’t lower your price just because somebody doesn’t want to pay it. What she offered you is insulting. There are some people who love to negotiate and not pay full price for anything. If something is on sale for $ .50, they want it for a quarter. They walk among us but we’re not required to bow to their wishes. It doesn’t mean she’s not good enough. Somebody else will love her and pay your asking price. Just wait.
I think she’s beautiful.
I think so many artists find ourselves lowering prices just to get a sale, times are hard. Ive done it. But in reality all it creates is buyers now “ expecting “ those lower prices for dolls that are worth much more. Its so frustrating, I understand. But your doll is worth your price.
Awww…what a little sweetheart! You did a beautiful job and definitely should not lower your price. Unfortunately, we all face a slowdown this time of year every year. It does seem more difficult than usual right now. I have two babies on Reborns right now with very little interest. Things usually pick back up going toward September. Hopefully, yours will sell soon. I’m desperate to sell mine right now, too, as they do take up room. I think just the lack of views on mine has been a little depressing.
Thank you ladies for your words.
@jeanhai that is exactly what I told her. It was insulting and disrespectful.
@liz31 thank you. You’re very sweet. I am actually aware of all her flaws but I see clones going for 200/300€… authentics have lost value to the eyes of many ignorant customers and it’s sad
best of luck for your sales
@Rosa05 it’s a loop isn’t it… they want low prices and big box openings too..
