Just putting Darren together, bought the recommended body for him and now putting on the belly plate beans. Now look at this. Ugh. Should I try to tug it down to make it work? I don’t know. I don’t think I have an Ashley body out in storage. The recommended body actually looks very proportional to Darren in my opinion and I thought since the bean plate is 15_18
Maybe if I can him on an ashleybody

It looks pretty well proportioned to me! I see a lot of oversized belly plates overlapping arms and it freaks me out. Lol
Thank you for replying, look where the private area is, should I put a tie at the bottom and try to tie it to the back tie to hold it down do you think
Oh is beans plate anatomically correct? I didn’t think about that. It might be a good idea with the tie, although the Ashley body might be nice too! I would be interested to see it on him!

Thank you, the top looks good but the length, in photos it works because it looks good covered with the diaper because you don’t see the area shown which in relation to the body is too high, but I’m wondering if it matters too much, or if the customer who purchases the doll decides that the plate is an incorrect fit. Or maybe they would not even think that? Maybe just I do… know what I mean… well I will see if I can tie it, if not I will try Ashley body on Darren and see how it goes 
I know what you mean. I think if someone did have a problem, I would just say the plate was the recommended size for this doll. You could always trim the boy parts off if you were really unhappy with it!

I used the bean plate and just cut the girly bits off. I used a bigger body than the recommended too.

I did the same thing. I bought both front and back bean plates but find they are too small for any of my dolls.

I used that plate on Ashley and it didn’t quite work for her either. The private area was up too high. I told my buyer and offered to cut it off, but she opted to keep it that way.

Now I am trying the Ashley body. Please chime in. What do you think about the proportion because the plate at least looks better on the BODY itself but now is the head of Darren too big looking.
