That’s copying copying. Taking inspiration from the work of others is one thing, downright copying them is another. I’m sure I’d be annoyed.
I love your clown babies, but just to look at. I already know I’m not creative enough to paint one.

Take an ugly sculpt one hidden way back in your closet or on your shelf and play. No one has to see it, no one has to know. Make a cyborg baby or a daffodil baby…get out some acrylic paint markers, make a tattoo baby, or a polka dot baby, or recreate your favorite fairytale or super hero baby. …
Stretch those creative muscles, you wouldn’t be here if you were not creative.

Ummm no. I’m not. 
I look at pictures of real babies and paint.
That sure is a good way to use an ugly sculpt.
