Hi all… I thought I would start this thread with my most recently completed baby. Everyone can add their own babies as well for feedback.
Please let me know any suggestions for improvements as well as thoughts on price point?
Thank you!

Cute lil guy. The only thing that stuck out to me right off was how bright and perfect the free edge of the fingernails/toenails look. He looks like he’s been for a manicure/pedicure.
I know what can I say I love a French tip haha! I think I need to tone down the white. Waterborne air dry nail tip is the color im using. How can I tone it down?
I’m not sure, but I know somebody will be along soon who can answer that question. My question is, if I’m ever in your area can I stop by for a manicure? You’ve got a very steady hand.
Sure as long as you don’t mind me using a toothpick on your nails
Deal!
I use a lot of medium mixed with my nail color. I usually use baby flesh or titan buff.
Beside the nails I think he is very well done.
If you put flesh over the nail tips it will tone them down. I use air dry paints but I use Unbleached Titanium as my nail tip color. It’s not so stark white. I usually have to go over them twice.
I will try this! Thank you.
I also always add some yellow and brown to my nail color so that it doesn’t stand out so much. Cute baby! I personally prefer a bit more mottling to add more depth, but others prefer soft tones, so it’s totally up to you
When I zoom in I can see the paint is a bit thick.
I would say thinner layers, more mottle layers and colors.
(this is harder for me personally with air dry but I havent tried your paint brand)
One of your eyes’ lashes are angled out correctly, the other a bit too straight. Super easy to fix next time and most people won’t even notice it. Also try longer strokes on your brow hairs and see if you like that better.
I use waterborne too, and for nails I use a lot of the matte medium and a bit of nail color to get softer nail tips. Also a toothpick really really helps!
I like the overall tone and the hair looks nice to me.
This is all such great advice! Thanks everyone!
How can I fix the eyelashes? These are something I notice are sometimes wonky lol
Overall I think he looks very good. I only noticed a few things. First his eyebrows look a little bit high and too arched. I will say as someone who has done 3 Levi’s this kit has the most difficult undefined eyebrows! The second is very minor and pretty easy to fix of you wanted to, his eyelashes. They look a bit long and straight. Cutting them shorter in the eye corners and leaning slightly longer on the outsides would help. Also a tip, I think I got from someone on here a couple of years ago, I can’t for the life of me remember who! But after cutting the eyelashes use a pair of tweezers to just slightly pull eyelashes here and there out a little bit. This gives it a really wispy natural look. I do it on all my eyelashes, well my babies lashes and it works really well. Occasionally I’ll accidently pull too much and have to trim again a little bit, but overall it’s pretty easy. The last thing, which is what really stood out to me that most is nails. The nail tips are really thick, a little messy/some extending onto finger and very stark looking. Nails are a freaking struggle! My suggestion would be to add some yellow to your nail tip color and make it pretty translucent. For moons if you decide to do any at some point adding some blue to nail tip color will help moons look more natural. You can do a couple layers of you find it’s too light. You can either use thinner or mediums if you prefer a thicker consistency. I personally used to use glazing medium mixed in mine, now I do nails with PanPastels and it’s a lot easier for me. Those are just the few things I noticed, overall though like I said I think he looks good
What I can see is the nail tips are too white and thick, and the eyebrows seem too thick and high.
Great job on your baby.
I struggle with “too white” nail tips too. I don’t have a problem painting them they are just too white. Problem is: I can’t see them when I try to make them lighter—so I suppose I’m stuck with the “too white nails”, LOL!!! (I’m old guys and have those crazy “old eyes”)!!!
I water it down. I use the same paint for nails as you do @Slbrlb . Once you put a clear coat on top it looks fine. But I’m like Lynn and can’t see as well as I used to, lol. Also I like the “too white nails” probably cause I can see them.
