Clothes for 16" Reborn

Can anyone point me to clothes to fit my 16" baby doll? Here she is my “Shekeia Kaandra”, you can see she does sort of fit preemie, but nothing truly fits her and I am not sure where to source affordable and adorable clothes for her?

Sorry the pictures are sideways, not sure why that is happening.

Our Kaelin fit the best in a well washed preemie footie outfit. But ours also doesn’t have 3/4 legs… so that may differ. I don’t think ours would fit in it it she had leg caps.

Sorry that wasn’t very helpful…

Have you washed and dried the outfits you have tried on her?

Wash and dry a premier outfit from Walmart. It will shrink. I bought some at Rose from someone outside this country but don’t know her name.

Have you tried American Girl sized clothes or Baby Born clothes? They both fit the same clothes and Baby Born is 16". You can find them online from China rather cheaply.

American Girl doll clothes (a dress) was tight on my 15 inch Clover…

That’s odd. Usually they’re interchangeable with baby born clothes and those dolls are pretty chubby!

I don’t know… lol.
It was for my Sister. (now looking at it though… I think it was just poofy…)

But now I remember using a pj set on Kaelin for my daughter and it was tight to fasten in the back… but I may have over stuffed her. She is unweighted for my then 5 yr old.

Baby Prem, The Preemie Store, Perfectly Preemie and Jacqui’s Preemie Pride all have actual preemie and micro preemie clothes that will fit. 3-4 pounds should fit a 16" baby.

I made Megan, a 16" kit, and she fit well in Carter’s preemie clothes. I’ve noticed, as with adult clothes, different brands vary in size…

I bought the owl set at Walmart. However, as much as ebay (for lack of better words) really irks me, I have found some great deals on preemie clothes…
Etsy has some sweet outfits too

…you may have better luck searching by size…

I did get a carters preemie and it fit her perfectly. I got two other outfits and the necks were sort of big. Glad I got the Carters!

Glad you found something to fit her  Do you have any baby consignment shops in your area? “Once Upon a Child” has adorable clothes for a reasonable price. They will also buy any baby clothes you no longer need. They must be stain free and at ours you cannot bring your clothes in a bag. I wash & fold mine and just stack them in a box…

I will have to check around, I know of two but I guess sending used clothing depends on the customers. I guess I need to take baby out with me so she can try the clothes on!

But I really do love some vintage clothing so if the customer was ok with like vintage dresses I am all for it. I love the old dresses with the gathering and lacey bottoms. They just don’t make them that often any more. I only see cute dresses at Easter and Christmas for babies.
