There were a few red flags but wanted to know kit name for researching copies and if theyve been copied. Person doesn’t know the name of kit, and it had no name marked anywhere. I think they are.selling off someones stuff that had passed away but the they have sold like 5 of these same kits in the past…good reviews tho altho i know that means little these days

Maybe luca knoops? But those limbs look like the fake generic ones… from knock offs.

Ew yep, reverse search image and one popped.up on alliexpress.
Is that why everything is haywire? I thought my browser was playing silly.

The face looks like Luca but the hands are not the same…
BUT the hands differ on the proto pics also???
Still dont know the name of the kit but i did dig deep and found their old listings from previous sales of this kit where they state they have 100 of them

I thought so too but the sides of lucas mouth droop down on the sides almost like a wee frown. I google searched the photo of the kit i took a pic of and i got an aliexpress listing matching the kit exactly with the photo i posted of it painted.
Plus the hands and feet matched with the other one. While luca has half closed hand

It is DK12 and some feel like it was a Luca knock off… others said it wasn’t. A few of us bought and painted them in 2012 or 2013 before “fakes” were something everyone was aware of. eBay had them really cheap. They smelled lovely.
