I have a realborn Ana asleep. And I had some pooling on 1 of the big toes I try to fix it but no luck so I thought I would strip the toe with some rubbing alcohol. And let me tell you that was the worst mistake of my life!! Definitely won’t do that again. But does anyone have any advice on what to do to fix it? BTW I use air dry paints. Any advice would work.
Can you post a picture?
This is my first baby that I am actually happy with the way she turned out. Would really hate to strip the whole thing. That would crush my heart.

She is beautiful. I don’t think you need to strip.. I also use air dry and I had to correct so many mistakes along the way. I would try and do very thin layers of rosy red/light purple on her stripped toe to match it as much as possible. It might not be perfectly matched but babies have imperfections, blotchy skin and such… I also find that Panpastels are great to blend nicely and fix some mistakes.
She looks good. You don’t need to strip the whole thing. You can fix this. It looks like the blended edge will be in the creases and won’t be very visible. Just try to use thin layers of the same colors and she should be fine. Truthfully, I didn’t see anything wrong with her toe before you stripped it.
I second the panpastels recommendation! I use them to blush toes and fingers and it helps with blending any imperfections.
Thanks everyone for you advice! I really appreciate it. I think I am going to use some golden polymer matte varnish that’s clear with a little of water and possibly thinking about putting a tad bit of red in it.
Thank you so much!
How did it go??
