Can I ship a package wrapped in plastic?

I’m wondering if USPS specifically would allow a package to be wrapped in plastic wrap to help waterproof the package, does anyone know? I don’t really want to ship out dolls wrapped in trash bags if I decide to start selling them again. I wasn’t able to find a clear answer online.

Not sure but you can put the baby in a gift bag first… assuming it fits in the box well.

I used to do it. Then saw others selling for more who just fold the doll in half and put in a flat rate… :upside_down_face:

I still line the boxes with bubble wrap though.
I use the bags more in winter time.

I put packing tape all over the box, so it’s technically wrapped in plastic.
I also put a doll in the plastic bag inside the box.

This is what I do at the suggestion of my Dad, he was a UPS driver for 30 years. Cover box completely in tape. It waterproofs it as well as makes the box sturdier.

Thanks ladies! I’ll give that a try if I sell any.
