The closed eye kit is probably a sculpt by Val Shelton. She retired from doll making several years ago.

That’s one of the first generation kits. That’s the “Mattie Rae” kit by Val Shelton from 2005
comes with 1/4 hands and feet. Was made out of “American Vinyl”
can be 20/22 inches depending on the body.
there was also “Kensie Rae” that had a bit of a smile

I still have my Binky kit from Val. She had some sweet kits : )
i have an open eye one that says mattie need to get these back out and take pictures. These are all kits i probably got in or around 2008 or so trying to take an inventory of what i have. some are marked good and others not so good.
