Yep. 3 Month Joseph has sold more in the first day of sales than any other kit in our history! We released yesterday with 610 kits, and right now (one day later) there are 118 remaining.
Joseph is my grandson (my daughter Jessica’s son). We see him every day here at Bountiful Baby. He’s an adorable chunky little kid, and always happy to see everyone.
When we show him his picture on the home page of the website, he laughs and is excited to see it:
He calls himself “Doctor Joseph”, and he says he is going to be a doctor when he grows up. He’ll charge 5 cents a visit for easy things and 10 cents a visit for hard things.
That’s so cute! I was a doctor when I was really little too. I was Dr. Foto (Fulton, my maiden name) and the bathroom was my office. I wouldn’t let anyone in! By the way, I was one of the ones who rushed to buy 3 mo. Joseph! He’s a darling and so is your real baby, Joseph!
That’s awesome, congrats Bountiful! …I’m sure you will continue to break previous records with all these amazing realborn kits. I’m not surprised at all he sold so fast, he’s not only adorable but he’s a unieque kit in the doll industry. Thank you for bringing us artists such great realistic new kits, for me your realborn and vinyl had brought me back to this industry!
He apparently had to increase his rates so he can buy himself a “real car”. I let him earn a little spending money (by doing little things around the house), but he does not want to spend it on toys. I keep showing him toys he can buy, but he’s not interested. He’s saving all of it until it’s enough to buy a car, lol. He wants a real car, not just a toy car he can ride in (he already has one of those). He doesn’t quite realize how long it will take to earn, but he’s got a few years before he’s driving anyway.
