I saw a post about doing a wash on eyes an I was wondering how do I do it an if I need glass eyes or acrylic eyes?? Glass eyes are so expensive. I was just wondering if there was a way to make the acrylic look better. They just dont look real to me an I love that dark blue glass eyes but darn they are expensive. I bought some paper glaze but have yet to try it out. well off to school. have a good day you all

I use acrylic eyes and gloss them with Pledge Floor Care Multi Surface Finish. It gives them a really nice glossy moist look-almost like glass.

I wonder if you added a drop of blue dye or paint to the pledge if you could get the blue sclera look?

How did you get serenitys limbs to move so easy? When I do a full limb baby its hard to get them to move lol I heard of people using the neck rings. I havent tried that yet.
I coated the grooves with super glue and made sure it dried really well before putting her together. Also, be careful not to pull the zip ties too tight. I wasted a lot of them before I got the hang of it.

So just regular super glue? Oh an my aunt says that we can get a car seat if we can find a nice one at a yard sale cheap. I still haven’t named serenity I kinda like that name lol She has so much hair I love it so much. There is so much of it. I asked my aunt what kinda mohair and she said never mind and walked away lol I assume it was Delta Dawn because she wont let me touch that hair. Its only for some kits. I still cant’ believe shes my baby and my aunt gave up her kit an you painted it. Just don’t seem real. Not many people would do that an all the stuff you sent im still so happy My aunt said you wasn’t feeling well I hope you feel better soon. Ur such a nice person. Thank you 
Just regular super glue. I squeeze out a drop and spread it out with the tip of the tube, then move over a little and do the same thing all the way around.

what sort of paint?
I actually don’t know. I was going to experinent. I’m thinking you would have to put a coat on before inserting so you don’t get it on the vinyl of the eye. But I guess I could just do like Amy Amy and paint the sclera and bake.

I wouldn’t. That’s the very last thing I put on my babies so an air dry paint would probably be the best to use for this.
