BB Ladybug kit

I have a question that maybe someone could answer. For starters I have already painted one ladybug kit and sold her which was awesome. I have another ladybug kit I want to paint, but I don’t care for the 3/4th limbs body. Makes it to floppy. Is it possible to put a full limb body on her with the 3/4th limbs and have it look right and if so, what body would be best?
Thank you!

I’m not super familiar with the kit, but in general three-quarter limb kits tend to look a bit odd on full limb bodies. Their limbs look too short and can stick out at unnatural angles.

No. You have to use full limbs on a full limb body. 3/4 limbs will be too short and stick straight out to the sides.

Welcome to the forum!
In the past I used 3/4 legs with a long upper part on the full legs body. But 3/4 arms will never look right.
You can switch the limbs from another toddler, but it will require vinyl tone matching before painting.

Thank you for responding! I kind of thought that but wasn’t sure.

Thank you! I’ll probably just stick with the correct body for the limbs. I don’t want it to look odd.

Thank you! I’ll just stick with the limbs she has and the body, I sure don’t want it to look odd.

Just make sure the joints are tight enough so the limbs don’t spin around. Often, when you get them, they’re too loose.

I didn’t even think of checking the joints, I just assumed that you couldn’t tighten them. I’ll be sure to check them from now on. Thank you!

You’re welcome.

That didn’t help me much is the past, I only used a couple of 3/4 kits when I started. No matter how tight they are, they were still a windmill in my cases. That experience brough so much dislike of those kits to me. People argument that it makes them ‘oh so cuddly’ didn’t prove to me that it’s true :frowning: It also limits clothes choices.
I am so glad that new sculpts are full limbed.

I think 1/4 and 3/4 limbs are much more poseable but I like full limbs for more clothing options.
