BB 18"- 20" cuddle body size?

I’m trying to complete as many babies as possible for my first doll show next month. I’m hoping to bring a variety, and want to include a cuddle baby, which I’ve never done. I have a BB cuddle body for 18-20" and was wondering for those that have used them what size baby you used. I have a BB Gena kit that I was considering painting, I hate her limbs, so thought she might be a good cuddle option. She’s supposed to be 20" and her head is pretty big. I didn’t know if she would look weird on the 18-20 cuddle body, too squatty? Of course I can go stuff the cuddle body and put the head on, but thought I’d ask first to see if there is a different head I should consider.

Thank you! That looks normal. Did you have to assemble your body? I just took mine out to look at and it’s 5 pieces, with open limb ends and a couple bags of joint pieces. I thought they came put together already, ugh I don’t know if I can figure it out, where our how to sew the joints in, they don’t even have instructions or anything!

Yes i assembled it…it cant come assembled due to the fact that you gotta be able to stuff the limbs. The is a video of the body being put together…its actually pretty easy to do. I love the cuddle body cuz it makes them feel so soft and squishy. You dont need to sew anything…the limbs have i think string ties. Once you stuff the limb you put the piece with the post into the limb and tie it tightly with the post sticking out, put the post into the hole in the body, put the big ring onto the post and use the small ring to secure it. It’s not hard at all. I was scared at first

I think the video showing the process can be found on the page that the body is on.

Would a 16"-18" body be the best fit for an 18" baby? I think the 18"-20" would be too big. Two inches on a small baby can make a big difference.

Thats a tough one…when i first got the body i though it would be too small but once i stuffed it and assembled her it didnt look as small as i thought it would. I still think her head is just a tad big for the body but not enough to really make me get a bigger one. Id say you could probably get away with using the 16-18" body for an 18" baby but i cant say for sure since this was my very first cuddle baby

Where is your show? And good luck! Don’t forget to tell us after about all your experiences!

It’s the Toledo Doll Show, technically in Rossford, OH but like a minute from Toledo. I posted here about it. It’s a smaller show I think, I don’t have super high expectations but I’m really excited about it anyways
