I can’t remember where, but I was reading where someone was having a horrible time with their matte varnish. It might even be in this forum somewhere. They bought a new jar and it solved the problem. It sounds like you have been doing everything right. Maybe you could have a batch of bad varnish or one that has gotten old? Does anyone know if there is a shelf life on Genesis Paints and mediums?
