I have a rooting plan drawn on my head, I wanted to draw baby hairs in places around the hair line. I was thinking about doing it after i root just in case small adjustments need to be made. This will be my first time rooting I should add. I have read on here ways to bake a rooted head. I would love to hear in which order people prefer.
I prefer to root after I’ve finished baking, I don’t like how the hair gets all mussed up. But if I need to bake after rooting I wet the hair and put a hat on the head, then bake.

I bake heads with rooted hair. I cover hair with wet washcloth.
