So, my mom loves elephants. I was thinking about making Babette for her for Christmas but what colors do I need? Probably black and white to make grey right? What other colors? What techniques? I’ve never made an animal baby before! Thanks in advance!

I have a Babette that I haven’t been able to paint yet but when I google pictures I also see shades of brown as well. I think adding layers and shadowing would be good tips if you were going for a more realistic look. But of course this is whatever you prefer and what you think your mom will like🐘

Depends on if you want to go real or fantasy. You could go really out of the box and make her a pink elephant 
a purple fairy elephant. A polka dot elephant

So, I still haven’t made Babette yet but I decide to tell my mom my plan! She loves the idea! Now I don’t need to worry about how to surprise her but its still a great gift. And now I know she wants one too!
