Giant newborn Landon’s leg next to tiny newborn Ashley’s leg
Wow!! lol! I love the different skin tones you achieve! I’m working on Dominic now and he is big! I have to do his head and limbs in the Nuwave separately lol
They are at different stages of painting. Ashley is almost done. Landon is just getting started. But I’m hoping he will turn out a little lighter than she did. She’s not really that dark though. I took the picture tonight when it was already dark. The lighting is bad.
I also have Dominic in the works. He’s pretty big compared to the other realborns I’ve done. His arms don’t seem a whole lot smaller than Landon’s. But you can see a big difference in their legs. I took this pic the other day…Landon, Dominic, Laila, and Ashley. I wish they would tell what size all the babies were at birth. I know Landon was a 10+ pounder and Ashley was a 5 pounder. But I would like to know about all the others. You can’t really tell what to expect before you buy the kits.
Ty for that comparison picture! That’s amazing. Yes I wish they would indicate what they weighed at birth. They only say the inches. Landon is huge lol so I’m thinking Dominic was around 9 or so lbs. He just seems so big to me for a newborn. I can’t imagine trying to birth that head lol. But my first one was over 8 lbs and my second baby’s head was the size of a 9 lb baby they. .
Wow, I didn’t realize Landon was that big!
I am working on Landon now and I chose to upsize his body to the 300 body that makes him bigger. I tired it on him just to see how it would look and it is going to be perfect. He can wear a 0-3mos romper with it.
Skin tone wise, Landon is some of the most pale vinyl and I do not like it at all! I ended up going with a more fair skin tone for him. I have noticed every one I have seen painted of him looks more fair too and I think it is because his vinyl soaks up all the paint due to it being so flat colored.
I have a Charles kit here and he is a big chunky baby too! Not quite as big as Landon but definitely a chubber!
Good to know that Charles is fairly big. I’m thinking of using him to make one of my boys, who was 8 pounds 4 oz at birth. And I agree that Dominic seems to be about a 9 pound baby. As for Landon and his gigantic head…all I have to say is…for his momma’s sake, I sure hope he was a C section baby.
My real babies were comparable to those 4 arms. My smallest was 4 lb 15 oz and 17 inches long…just about like Ashley. My daughter was 7 lb 1 oz…Layla seems about her size. Two of my boys were 8 lb 3 and 8 lb 4 oz. Fairly close to Dominic, maybe a little smaller. And my giant was 9 lb 4 oz and 24 inches long. His length definitely compared to Landon. But he was pretty skinny.
I got the Easton body for Landon too. And I’m wondering if I need a bigger body for Dominic.
I’m working on Landon n Dominic. From previous post I’ve read. I plan to use the 300 body for Landon.
Wow!! God Bless you with 5 children!! How wonderful!
My daughter was an only child for 5 years. She asked God for a brother. She ended up with 4. Be careful what you ask for.
I Love it!! He just wanted to bless her and your family.
