I’m making this post on behalf of a customer who wants to hire someone to root one of my dolls.
I have no idea how this works, if rooting over painted hair is difficult or a bad idea ect., but I told her I’d ask. She’s in the Bay area.

That;s some awesome painted hair! Does she want it rooted directionally over the paint?

Thank you. I’m not quite sure what she doesn’t like. I have had a few people who have never had a painted hair doll buy only to realize that they just like rooted better. Maybe she’s in this category?
Who knows. I can only tell you that I love looking at rooted babies, appreciate all of the skill and work that goes into them, but only have painted hair in my personal collection. I don’t want to do my own hair, much less a doll’s.
