I’m just wondering since I’m new to reborning and would like as much advice as possible
Following.
I finished painting one doll (no hair) in 1 day. I can do it in 2 or 3 days if I work very diligently. It usually takes me at least a week or more, though, because I have other things to do. It becomes tedious and not as much fun when I try to do it quickly. Hair can add several more days. Just take as much time as you need to get the result that you want. There’s no specific time frame.
For me it depends on how quickly I can get a certain look achieved.
Normally the first day I start painting a baby I do undertones, veining and if I get around to it, shading, creasing, capillaries and other details. The second day, I do mottling, flesh layers and some washes. My most recent Maddie didn’t take very long at all. She was finished within 3 days I believe . That doesn’t count curing time.
My Sue sue on the other hand took over a week to be completed not counting curing time. Technically she’s still not “done” as she still needs weighted and rooted hair but I have to wait on that haha.
A few days, usually. But I don’t work very fast.
It is way less time that ghsp. since i dont have to prime the oven, back, let the baby cool, etc. So it takes a few days vs weeks.
