If you have a baby its painted with airdry can you go over it with genesis paints instead of stripping it
You should be able to, depending on the type of air dry paint used. Some air dry paints turn orange when baked.
I’ve always heard that you can’t, but am not sure what happens when you do.
Shes cute going to redo her
Air dry acylics are considered a good base for oil paints so in theory you should be able to go over them with Genesis products. As someone stated, some of the “reborn” air dry paints can go orange from being heat set, particularly if they have not cured long enough. This is more to do with the additives in the paints than the actual pigments in the paints. The LDC paints are the worst I have found to go orange when heat set. They need to be fully cured for a month before they are relatively stable for this. If the baby is varnished with an air dry varnish, some of them can go sticky when exposed to heat. If that happens, you can try a thin layer of Genesis Matte Varnish over them before proceeding.

Very true thats all i use
