Advice on first time sculpting

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on learning to sculpt for a few days now (what will I’m sure be a years long learning process), and I’d love some advice. There’s definitely a lot that’s not quite right about this one, but I’d love to make improvements. Any suggestions? Thanks! (Also feel free to be super honest, it won’t hurt my feelings )

I’d also love any tips on sculpting lips! Thats been a huge struggle so far

Looks great! I would suggest add a bit more on the sides and top of the head. The face should be in the lower half of the whole head.

I think it’s looking great, just need to build more on top and side of the head, babies head are larger on the top half, eyes should be half way down to give you some idea on how much you need to build the top.

I like his lips but the bottom lip should sit further back than the top lip (so the top lip over hangs a bit)

I don’t have any advice to offer, but good on you for trying something new. I’m excited to watch your skill level progress.

Thanks so much! Hadn’t thought about top lip over bottom lip, but it looks so much better now!

aww, thank you! I’ve been so scared to try because I knew it’d take so long to build up sculpting skills, but that’s what this is all about isn’t it?
