AA baby a little too dark

Hey guys!
So i am working on custom twin A and B kits for a mommy and i went a little too dark . My anxiety is telling me to strip and start over , but i am trying to be calm and not in a panic lol. Since we know its easier to go darkee than light.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

I’d do a light flesh wash.

Do you have a photo of the complexion you are trying to achieve?

Just found this post again lol and she actually wanted then darker than pictured lol. So the darkness is ok. Now i have to figure out how to get rid of the shine

So they ended up darker anyway lol

If you have any Americana Soft Touch Varnish or some DecoArt DuraClear Ultra Matte Varnish you can use this formula from @anjsmiles:

20 drops distilled water
1/4 tsp cornstarch
1 level plastic picnic spoon of varnish
Dissolve cornstarch in water. Add varnish and stir well. I brush it on thinly and pounce it with a cosmetic sponge. It works on air dry or heat set without baking.

Thank you im just seeing this

What exactly is a plastic picnic spoon? Lol just like a regular plastic spoon?
Is there a video showing her making this up? Im a visual learner lol. Now i have to get some corn starch

Yes, a regular plastic teaspoon. You don’t need a tutorial. Put the cornstarch in a small jar or dish. Add the water. Mix it up. Add the sealer. Mix it up again. Apply it to the doll with a cosmetic sponge. Try it on small area that won’t show much or on another doll part that you can strip it off of later.
