Nikki, put on some soft music and try to meditate. Or skip the music if you have to move around to turn it on.

Get in the bed prop pillows under feet , plug us in ( phone that is) and relax positive thoughts, we are praying, we will keep you entertained. Weā€™ll get through this, donā€™t get out of the bed except to take care of ya know business .

Nikki, I bled through almost all of pregnancy with my son who is 11 now. The day I took a home test and I told my husband I was pregnant I had my period. I just knew I was pg (I had to have a fried egg that morning so bad it was awful and I just felt pg) so I tested and I was pg. My husbandā€™s face when I told him when he came home from work was priceless. He was like, ā€œHow is this possible? Didnā€™t you say you had your period?ā€ I said yes, I did, but I knew I was pg. He was so very happy but a little scared as was I. I called the doctor and she put me on bed rest. That was at the beginning (4 weeks or so) and I kept bleeding lightly.
Unfortunately I woke up on Motherā€™s Day (of all things- I wonā€™t ever forget it) bleeding much heavier at around 3 months and went to ER. Sent me home to rest in bed and wait and see.
I eventually had an ultrasound a bit later which showed the baby was fine, we were lucky. The bleeding in my case came from a placental hematoma (basically a huge bruise/bleed in the placenta) because I have a genetic defect which makes my blood clot faster than normal and messes up the blood flow. The hematoma had been closer to the cervix with the baby higher up so the blood was able to flow out and not put pressure on the baby so he held on.
I spent most of the pregnancy on bedrest, spotting/bleeding on and off. Finally at 40 weeks the ob/gyn had to induce me. The irony, huh? After all that time trying to keep him in, they wanted him out! I probably would have gone into labour on my own with the next week or so but because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, the doc wanted the baby out ASAP while full grown and still healthy.
Anyhoooooā€¦ just to let you know that bleeding doesnā€™t always mean loss. My mom bled when pg with me, was even hospitalized and not allowed to even get up at all (not even to use the washroom) and I made it.

By the way, when they say bedrest, in case they didnā€™t tell you, your head canā€™t be raised more than 45% inclination above the bed and itā€™s better if you are flatter, with a pillow for your head for comfort, of course. Lying on your left side can help digestion and placing the top leg on a pillow with your knee bent and the pillow on the bed in front of your knees (top knee on pillow) can help circulation. Of course, changing sides and going on your back is fine too, but if your tummy is having a hard time digesting it empties easier lying on the left.
I hardly had any vomiting during pregnancy but I followed something Iā€™d read in a book. Put saltines on your night table. When you wake up in the AM eat a few before getting out of bed to use the washroom. Often, nausea is caused by low blood sugars in pg and the saltines bring the glucose up and keep nausea at bay. Iā€™d nibble on them in the daytime sometimes, too. Worked like a charm.

I am furious on your behalf that they didnt do an ultrasound especially with your history! You should really think about finding another doc imo. Try to stay calm, remember baby gets better bloodflow if you lay on your left side unless they told you to lay in a certain position of course. Just rest, relax, watch old movies, subscribe to netflix if you havent and sending big gentle hugs and prayers for you and Bunny. I cannot tell you what to do. Iā€™m not a doc, but, if I felt like there was anything wrong Iā€™d get it checked out. Do what they saod and play the boring game right now. And personally Iā€™d be on the internet looking up other obs.

Oh, Nikki! Iā€™m praying.

I canā€™t believe they didnā€™t do an ultrasound when you were in the office!! Iā€™m so glad you have a new doctor!!! I bled quite a bit with my first pregnancy and all was well with baby. Well, maybe that does explain a few things about him but thatā€™s another story. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Let us know how it goes tomorrow!

Thinking of you, Nikki, and praying your little bunny is safe (and you, too, of course).

By the way, I never told you how honored I am that you chose my suggestion of ā€œlittle bunnyā€ to refer to your growing babe. Makes me smile every time I read it.

You are a beautiful momma bunny. Hang in there, we are all cheering you on. Big gentle ((HUGS)).
