Is it something I’m doing, or do the 43 guage single barb needles wear out fairly quickly?

The 43 gauge I purchased from BB wore very quickly and broke way to often. I now purchase mine from nonies or dolls by sandie. They are great quality no problems with them. I only order the BB 43’s when my go to places are out of stock on them.
