I wonder why BB has stopped making babies with 3/4 limbs? I don’t like babies with full limbs, they feel too much like a doll. I like the floppy feel of the 3/4 limbs instead of adjusting the full limbs when holding of sitting with a baby. Any time I purchased a baby I liked that came with full limbs I changed it to 3/4 limbs. Now I can’t do that anymore it’s very hard to find 18" kits with 3/4 limbs or the bodies to go with it. Anyone else feel the same?

They cut down on the artist kits they sell, and to my knowledge a lot of the 3/4 limb kits were artist kits (not Realborns). Theyre moving to mainly producing realborns, which is cool but a bit of a drawback. I adored the artist kits.
The full limb kits are more fun to dress with more options but i agree, the 3/4 limb kits aren’t nearly as doll-like in their cuddle factor.

Full limbs have the most clothing options. 3/4 limbs have more of a real baby feel. 1/4 are the most cuddly. I feel like there’s enough baby clothing options to accommodate all of them. dollsbysandie.com has some 18" 3/4 limb bodies and 3/4 limb sets. Also quite a few 18" 3/4 limb kits with mix and match limbs.

Most collectors prefer full limb babies now days so the 3/4 are being phased out everything. Sculptors are all making them full limbed now. I will not even paint/reborn a 3/4 limb baby any more.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Dolls by Sandie are too expensive for me as far as kits go. Her cloth bodies aren’t made well at all, I’m petite and have small hands and found it impossible to get the stuffing into the body with such a small neck opening.

I find her kits to be less expensive than many other places. I like neck openings that don’t bunch up around the neck. I hope you find what you’re looking for.

Her artist choice bodies are the same bodies the the Artists place with their kits
Just remembered all the artist bodies are full limbs but the bodies K, L &n M are very nice thick does suede. The ABCDEF bodies are really thin they told me and a cloth from secrist supplier.
