2025 Kansas Doll Show

My current WIP is figuring out how to get 18 babies on a 6 foot by 3 foot table…
This is a “mock” set up… need someone to buy at least 4 to ease the load… (What was I thinking?)

You fit all those on one table? You are way more creative than I am. I’m desperately trying to figure out how to set up my table for West Coast.

Stacking crates or shelves give a lot more room. You just have to change the display a bit and leave out some of the baskets.

That is one full table!!! I found that going up is the best way to get more on the table. It does look like your back row is elevated a bit though. If you are intent on having them in baskets that is probably the best arrangement there you can get. I used shoe racks like this to raise mine up as well as some of the wire shelf boxes. Putting a blanket over the shoe risers you can then lay babies in them or put baby in a basket and put the basket on it.

The look very cozy in the baskets.

I think this looks much better!

I like ‘before’ picture better.

I like them both…whichever you end up choosing will display these babies well!!!

I am unsure, but not using the baskets sure will ease my load for transport.

When I do a doll show, I use large baby shower gift bags from the dollar store instead of boxes. I put the blanket wrapped baby and any accessories in the bag and put a post it note on the inside edge of the bag so I know which one is which. I stash the bags under the table. It makes it much easier for buyers to carry them in a bag with handles than a box.

I wouldn’t have room under the table for 18 gift bags. I have the paperwork and extra outfits in gallon zip lock bags and I buy nice gift bags from Natural Life and just grab one with each sale and add to it and give it to the “mom”. The bag is large enough to add the baby if it is sitting up. I take them to the show in big zipper totes and put 4 or 5 in each tote (more than that and it is too heavy to manage).

Thank you… arrived on Monday and I have been in class with Jodie Lombardo since yesterday… didn’t get finished (need to finish lips, finger tips and seal), but got a nice skintone..

Camilla Winkler brought aprons for all of us to wear…got a few looks from guys staying at the hotel that didn’t know about our doll show.

Great job on the baby Pia!

Those Aprons are hysterical!

I am being dropped off at Hartsfield airport Friday morning by my husband. I will have to sit there about 4 hours waiting to depart at 4:19 pm. This is the only way I can do it as we are 2 hours away and he has to get back to his afternoon school bus route. I am praying the time passes fast and my back holds up to all the sitting which is not good for my herniated discs. I will be trying to walk a lot! My plane is supposed to land at 5:33 pm Friday in Kansas! Woo hoo!
