15 month Charlie

I think he’s adorable and I’d love to reborn him, but I can’t see me ever paying over $200 for a vinyl kit (including shipping of course). Just not in my budget.

I’m a pass simply because I’m not buying more toddler kits, but I’m okay with the price.

You just said it’s not in your budget and that’s totally fair <3 I just did some price comp research so i’m going to share in my reply.

He is a few dollars less expensive than other comparable kits. He’s on par with with Ping Lau’s newer toddlers, for example Bliss and Ziva. They’re $199 each. Those have a vinyl chest but no armature. Shipping free as well.

Meanwhile, Charlie is a limited edition kit of only 700, and I trust the Bountiful has a legal team ready to defend him from the counterfeiters so if people want him I think he’s a great buy. (Ping fights them too but her kits are open edition. I’m just using Ping as an example of similar sized doll creator. Another comparable toddler creator is Sigrid Bock, her large toddlers also sell for $199.)

All the toddler kits are out of my budget, now. Not just this one. I really like them. I have a few in my stash but when they’re done I probably won’t be buying any more. Even the newborn ones are getting up there in price.

I bought one. Most toddler kits are expensive. Plus, he comes with an armature. And he’s limited edition. So the price is definitely fair.
