I am not sure if you are airdry or genesis, but it might be a good idea to do on a practice piece first. I do airdry and when I do color washes, I probably use half to a third the amount of paint I use for the regular layers. An all over blushing color would pink up the kit, burnt umber or yellow ochre would warm it up. A lot of people use a number wash to blend everything together. You can do washes of any color really. Just make sure they are really thin. Genesis people usually brush on and sponge off. Doing airdry, I just sponge it on
