Choosing kits

It’s a sickness.

I used to buy kits that were on sale or cheap… but I lost interest and didn’t want to paint them or especially root them. Lately, I have been buying kits I can’t wait to paint. And if I love painting it, once it sells… I buy another if the same. :joy:

I think it helps to like the kit. I choose kits I like mostly because working on a kit I don’t like doesn’t go as smoothly :joy:

I have to like the kit first and I have to like the price. If they have bad ears it’s also a no thanks for me. Some kits are adorable but if the ears aren’t realistic, I can’t buy it, even if it’s cheap.

I have noticed too that I’m starting to have preferences. I love how cuddly 3/4 limbs are and I have to really love an open eyed kit otherwise it’s hard to paint them but it is really rewarding to put their eyes in and see them come to life

She turns out sooo cute!
