Why we do what we do... :)

I posted last night that I finally sold my Ava (Corbin sculpt). She was purchased for a sweet little 10 year old in Nova Scotia. The little girl started messaging me today, starting with simple questions about Ava, and we’ve been chatting back and forth. She asked me when Ava was born, and I said May 20th, and her little sister “lost her mind” because that was close to her birthday. The excitement in her short messages is so apparent, and it’s bring so many memories back of when I was young and dolls seemed almost magical. I love that I could make a little person so happy!

Awwww…enjoyed your story…we work hard at something we enjoy and this is our reward…the appreciation and gratitude that people share with us because of the reborns…that’s very neat…!!..

This kind of response is pure icing on the cake. It’s what makes it worthwhile for me.

That’s good to hear. I have a little girl that sends me regular updates on her baby too. Are you close to Nova Scotia? I’m right next door in New Brunswick…would love to hear from some fellow Canadian reborners!

You can’t get that whole warm and fuzzy at Toys R Us or Target! Toys made by hand, with love, by people, and good customer service, its so important. She is going to love that little baby! Great share.
