Who else is alone for Christmas?

I’m working in the morning so will be in the company of 6 lovely ladies with dementia, 3 were nurses, 2 were teachers and one use to farm goats for thier mohair, their dementia is pretty advanced so for them it’s just another day and with covid they can’t see family, we will be doing our best to make it a nice day, I will then be going home for Christmas dinner cooked by my grown up children, I feel blessed that I get to spend time with them

Maltese can keep you well entertained ! My mom has two (20 years ago), one only 3 lbs. They required a lot of attention !

I’ll be working tomorrow too. Saturday we’ll do Christmas movies and some baking. Just the two of us and the animals.

Oh my gosh they are cute!!! I have a shih tzu named Nip who just turned 4. He is the first of this breed that I have owned but hes awesome. I want more so I can have a little shih tzu pack. :rofl: Oh and please excuse his hair. I had it in a mohawk that day.

So sorry to hear that happened to you, I hope you can still enjoy the holidays even if the family gathering is not the way it used to be :heart: my family was never perfect and it’s been shattered ever since my highly mentally unstable little brother got taken away, because of how dangerous he was to others and himself. So we barely celebrate nowadays

I am hoping so! It’s been a wild night! I’ll sleep for a bit, my housemate is going to bring me food from her family’s get together, and then back to work Christmas night. Hopefully tomorrow night is tamer…
