What is the best oven for reborning?

Hi! I have been using a regular kitchen oven for my reborns until now, and I am gong to buy an oven that would be better and easier to work with. Do you know what oven is best to use? And where I can buy it?
Any information is appreciated!
Thank you!

I am not sure what brands you have in the usa but get a convection oven…make sure it has the extender ring with it…They are great! Once you use one you will never want to use anything else. I just take the racks out, put a thick dish towel in the bottom and cook away! Here is a pic of mine. I have it on an enclosed patio area but you can put them on any table top.

I think most will agree that the Nuwave or similar oven (many different brands that are similar) is the best. They usually run $100 USD but you can find used ones most of the time on Ebay or such or over half the price. Also try to find one with the extender ring. I use a Farberware Countertop Convention Oven. Works GREAT!! Most counter-top ovens are too small. Your doll parts will not fit but the Farberware is one of the best counter top convention oven. You can find it almost every where.

So many people recommended the NuWave when I was shopping for an oven that I decided to give it a try. I love it and would also recommend it. Several people have found theirs almost new at yard sales. I bought mine through Bed Bath and Beyond and used a coupon. The one I got had the extender ring included, which is a must!

Without a doubt, the NuWave !!!

The NuWave with an extender ring is a dream!! I absolutely LOVE mine!! I tried several toaster/convection ovens before and the temps were all over the place. Plus, even the larger ones don’t accommodate as many pieces as the NuWave.

I’m new to reborning and am still getting together the supplies that I need to start on my first baby. I’ve been collecting reborns for about 10 years and finally one of my online reborning friends said to me recently that with all the collecting I do I need to learn to make my own babies. A few days later I received a package in the mail from her. Inside was a ā€œLaineyā€ kit and a few extra supplies to begin making my own (Thank you Rhonda!). I decided that she was right…so here I am! I asked here on the forum and also asked a few of my eBay friends what oven was best for making the babies. There was one oven that came so highly recommended that I just couldn’t ignore it…NuWave. I found one brand new on eBay for under $75.00!! I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to finish getting all the supplies that I need to make ā€œLaineyā€. It’s just that every time I think I’ve got everything that I need to start I find out I need something else. At this point I’m not too sure whats really needed and whats not. All I know is that I can’t wait to get started!!!

Probably don’t have these in the USA but I had a Tiffany that I paid $59 for and it lasted 4+ years and I ended up selling it when I thought I was going to give up painting so it still may be going today…After 5 months of withdrawals I went back to my reborning and bought a Bellini from Target on sale for $49 and am still using it 2+ years later…and you know how many doll parts I cook…hahahahaha! Knock on wood but I have never melted a part in either of them and I am naughty and never used a thermometer ever…I just adjust the minutes up and down depending on the size of parts I put in there…for example, smaller parts I will cook less time… take them out, let them partially cool and put them back in (never let them totally cool off though - just let some of the heat off them and then put them back in for 3 - 4 more minutes…)

Not sure that helps but I have never had any problem…here are photos of the 2 I have had…Got the black one at the moment…I has been very good too 2+ years and still going…I liked the tiffany better because it did not have a light going on and off in it like the bellini does when as it heats on and off but both work just as well as the other…
