I have to confess. I cut off part of Huxley’s left lower eyelid to make them a little more even. I don’t think I’m the only one. I’ve seen a lot of Huxleys that don’t have the squinty left eye. I used a narrow X-acto blade. I think a Dremel would vibrate too much.

First, I love them all. I could Never do this kind of work esp on a Huxley kit. 1,2,5 and 8 are my favs.

I also noticed that none with painted hair were selected. I am kind of surprised because I saw many Huxley’s with painted hair that were adorable and since I prefer painted hair I like to see a prototype or two with painted hair.

Here is the interesting facts: my Hux #1 with hard head has more even eyelids, so her left eye looks more open. My Hux #2 with soft head has a droopy eyelid.
I also currently learn that it’s Hux #3 type with more round head.

I think it’s perfectly fine to alter the kit to sell. But not for a prototype.

I agree. It is the same to me when there are pictures of an unassembled painted kit that has more bend than it will when assembled. It give the false idea that once you or your artist paints it it will be able to do that too… and it cant. lol

I like #3 and #10. I wish #8 took better photos…needed more light. #8 would have been added to my list!
EDITED after reading comments above. @jeanhai, I was wondering why that baby looked a little different from the others. @Katinafleming, I agree. That entry shouldn’t be considered for the prototype because it’s altered.

Since these were not prototypes…but (at least mine) were babies created to sell…I think it is fine to alter the eyes as you see fit.
And I’m pretty sure Natali uses a dremel to open the eyes on her works 
It’s really tricky and one false move can be a disaster…been there…done that 
IF…someone were doing an ACTUAL prototype…then I would not think it should be altered in any way.
