I am loving the new Realborns! My kit stash grows faster than I paint, so I’m waiting for sales on the ones I love. I was able to snag Aspen Sleeping and Charles Awake on sale, super happy about that:) Eventually I want to get Autumn, Pearl, Christopher, Cannon, and Michael.

I hear you on the sales but the way I see it BB kits are cheaper than all the popular ones at macs and irresistables etc

Oh absolutely! They are completely worth their full price for sure! I’ve paid full price on Bountiful Baby kits when I know I’m going to need them right away.

But I do not like the angle of the arms on many of them… so I dont know…
I do not like Harlow’s prototypes but have an idea on how to make her/him, so will get that one some day.

Waiting for the sales, that’s the only way I can justify buying any more kits. It’s kinda like going to hobby lobby. i don’t need anythingi just want it. Now if I can pay half price for that thing I want, how can I pass that up, especially if I know it will eventually go on sale. I think Pearl is adorable.

Yes , they are cheaper but for us Canadians comes out about the same or more if we need to pay customs . Before it was a hit and miss But lately they charge for each parcel .
$56 for the kit + $14 body + 30 for shipping is 100 + customs . That can be about $125 so I can buy a kit from Machperson for less .
Sad … I wasn’t able to buy any lately

I just finished Kelsey, love her, I just ordered Pearl today. I have Aspen Asleep and Brooklyn Awake coming, got those 2 on sale. I love the Micheal kit but so many have said his vinyl is hard to paint that im hesitant to get him.

Im in France and have the same problem. I have to buy BB babies from European sites. I wish BB shipped USPS like Dolls so Real do, I buy from them all the time and rarely get charged customs.

When they ship to me it is USPS and I’m so glad because the charge from UPS is three times as much. I don’t even like ordering things from the US if it isn’t going to be shipped USPS.

Do they? I wonder what the difference is then because I am always charged quite a lot of money and I get things from Dolls so Real without any taxes or fees. Maybe its the way its sent…first class, ect. Dolls so Real ships priority.

My box has a USPS Priority Mail Express sticker on in it. You will have to take note next time or look at one of your boxes if you still have them.
