Getting down to the wire now! How’s everyone doing???

I’m working on my last 3 babies for the year; want to get them all done and photos taken and hopefully outta here by the 15th, my personal deadline. I figure if I have to ship one on the 15th it should be able to get anywhere in the lower 48 by Christmas Eve eve. No painting for me after the 11th; decided to put the brushes down and just BE for a couple of weeks, enjoy the holidays and then get going again after we ring in the new year.

It’s been an awesome year of reborning, lots of fun here on the board! Looking forward to some new realborns as we start the new year, can’t wait for Charlotte, especially.

Sounds good. Just don’t overwork yourself! But it’s definitely a great idea to put away the brushes and enjoy the holidays. I still need to find a small tree and put it up in my room to decorate. Wish I would have saved that red one I had~

Sounds like you are all very busy----I am still trying to finish rooting Easton, man does he have a big head!! Glad you are all nearing the end of your work so you can just relax and enjoy the holidays with your families. I don’t have anything that has to be finished since I don’t sell but I would still like to have him done by Christmas so I can clean up everything and start again in 2016!!

I’m on my last 6 with before Christmas deadlines…Have 2 to finish after Christmas and I am taking 6 - 8 weeks off before I start back again…Looking forward to the break…Been very blessed this year as well but looking forward to some time off :smile: …

While I’ve never had 6-8 dolls to finish in a short time span, I would go stark raving mad if I didn’t paint for 3 weeks. I barely made it for one (and I was in Hawaii). This here’s a SERIOUS addiction! lol

I’m supposedly taking a break, but I washed and am going to prime Tippi and also Mirimah and I’m sewing a dress for Tippi who doesn’t even exist yet. I can’t stand staring at that empty bassinet. I really can’t tell you how wierd it is to have no little ones sleeping peacefully in my doll room. I still have all the toddies sitting around, but they look a bit forlorn to me…LOL

As far as I can see, only shipping to do…!!..And packing for a one week vacation with my daughter to Cuba…WE leave December 16…bringing some heads in my Carry on to root during the flight .!!..unless they confiscate my rooting needle…!!..When on vacation this past January missed reborning like crazy …can’t paint there case I use GHSP…by sure CAN do some rooting …will bring a couple of painted heads and my rooting stuff…!!..hope I remember to pack my bathing suit.:slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

I’m down to two left plus the two piglets. Just got them primed last night. Want to finish them this week so I can take a break. @flymetotheisle wish I could go to Cuba with you. It’s on my bucket list to do.

Oh Blissfulbabies… When you visit , you will love it…prefer it to Mexico and the Dominican…the people are great…country is safe…ocean WOW.!!..food gets complained about a lot…but have been going to Cuba for ages and as a result now can carry on a limited conversation with the locals…!!..:purple_heart:.10 more sleeps…!!..:purple_heart:

Took a mini break from painting the last couple of weeks to put these last few together. Starting on a couple of more, but not feeling rushed to get them finished before Christmas.
