Be thankful for the laundry because it means you have clothes to wear.
Be thankful for the lady who sings off key jn church because it means you can hear.
Be thankful people complain about the government because it means we have freedom of speech.
Be thankful for the alarm that goes off each morning because it means you’re alive.

Im thankful i was borni n America.I won the lottery with just that. Even the least of us here arent as poor as some others in the world
.At least there are food pantries…Some people in the world would be thrilled to have my disgarded turkey carcass .I think it every year when i put it in the trash…

Whenever there is a big holiday, I keep remembering a news story I saw a few years ago of North Korea. Undercover video of a little boy picking up grains of rice out of the mud at soldiers’ feet and eating them while they ignored him. So heartbreaking but it always makes me turn to God to thank Him for all the blessings we have. And it reminds me to open my eyes and really see who around me needs a little bit extra food or money or friendship. So share a pie or just a slice with a friend.
