Oh NO-----Natasha you just had to draw my attention to Spencer. I DON’T need anymore kits but thanks to you I just ordered 2 Spencers LOL… Isn’t he just so cute? He’s been gone a long time. I am NOT going back to that gallery anymore!!

Oh man, that sucks. So you’re not getting him now? Maybe you should bite the bullet and get him anyway in case he disappears again for another couple of years. I have been waiting for Easton and he has been gone for at least 3 years that I know of because I have been retired for over 2 years and he was gone for at least the last year I was working. I know Diane has been waiting for him too.

I know how that goes and I couldn’t pass up getting 1 Josie, 2 Rowans, and 3 Irelyns when they where all on sale at the same time along with everything else I needed to get. I think I have now officially made my biggest BB order so far and I can’t seem to stay away from the Gallery.

Yes, it is very hard but I know I will be ordering again on the 25th because I am going to need more glass beads, magnets, and some more bodies because I now have a total of 25 kits but only 4 bodies, 5 yards of material, 20 joints for bodies. I may need to get some more kits if any of the ones on sale that day are the ones that I am wanting lol.

This will be the first time for reborn bodies, but I have crocheted dolls and stuffed animals before. I have made AIO cloth diapers, baby dresses (crocheted and sewn). I am thinking in comparison making the bodies should be easier. I have made some quilts and quilts are a pain some times. I plan to use the realborn body (front loading legs) as a guide to make my own pattern. I intend to tweak it to get my own design for all the defferent sizes.

The last order I made for the doe suede from BB it was thinner than it was previously when I ordered. It’s ok, but I prefer the thicker fabric. I now order mine from CR’s crafts. It’s cheaper and the fabric is thicker. Just do a search for suede cloth and all the different colors they have will come up.
I make my own bodies and find I can get a better fit when I do. I can’t make a quilt and I have tried many times, but I have no problems sewing up a body. So if I can do it you sure can. LOL

I will look and see what fabrics I can find and thank you for the advice, I received my BB order today and you are right the fabric is a bit thin but it will work for now.
