Congratulations, Vicki! I, too, am aspiring to have someone need to vomit when they see my baby! I think you deserved a blue ribbon, too. I doubt any other entry created as much of a stir as yours did!

Aww Thank You Amy and I tell you what, you and Karen come to good ole Montana and with the three of us out with our babies I am sure we will hit someone that will have urge to vomit LOL. I agree I donât think many people really went crazy over the knitting, quilting and etc. like Miss Sugar created

I entered a baby in the Oklahoma Fair 2 years ago and got 2nd. I had taken a pacifier to serve as a prop beside the baby and when I went to the fair to see how I did, they had also put the pacifier on his face! UGH. I found someone who in turn assured me that they would find the person with the key to the glass display case and would remove it. My neighbors went the next day and it had been removed. Guess if I take one this year, I wonât take a modified one so they canât make that mistake again! Sorry there was no competition for your baby! If there had been, I have a feeling you would have won!

@Becca Awww I like that thought. Yes, I was kind of feeling the same way when I saw her and the ribbon. lol
@pia - I guess people think they need the pacifier. I had told the woman to leave it beside her and as you can see she has it and it isnât even straight. Good that the pacifier was removed. Well I was wrong about competition I evidently had another doll I was going against that I didnât know about. My boyfriend told me last night about a cloth doll and she won a blue ribbon and Presidentâs Choice ribbon. He said it really wasnât anything to sing home about compared to mine. She was a little rag doll that had two sewn outfits and she was displayed in a miniature footlocker. I am going back on Saturday and will see if I can find this doll. Oh well it was a neat experience and I will do it again next year. This time I will be adding more items than just the one. I noticed the Crochet section had no Heirloom Thread Crochet. Well I am working on a Christening Gown that has hearts all around the bottom edge. Will take me a year to finish with the dress, bonnet and blanket. Just may enter that as well

Update Sugar has won two Ribbons - I went to pick Sugar up today and saw that she had a 2nd ribbon attached. Last night there was the Awards Ceremony that I knew nothing about. Sugar was presented the Superintendentâs Award - The Award of Excellence last night during the ceremony. I was so surprised. So here she is home safe and sound with her two ribbons. I also may have some new business. 
Many wanted my name and phone number.

Aww thank you so much @kareninflorida - I was so surprised when they handed my basket to me and saw this 2nd ribbon attached. That is when they explained that the Superintendentâs Award is a surprise, it is only awarded the last night of the fair. They also told me that many ladies wanted to know who made this baby and if I sold my work. So I gave my name and number to the Fair Office and the ladies will be in to get my information. It has been a wonderful and exciting experience for sure.

How nice to be surprised with THAT honor! Sort of makes up for a cloth doll getting the Blue Ribbon! I think this one was more prestigious!
