I love this kit! LE of just 550. She comes with body, full upper body torso, connectrs/hook and choice of bent or straight legs. But, at $179.99 + shipping she’s not in my budget. I also noticed that the hands on the boy aren’t the same ones on the girl. I think the picture of him on the bike has been altered. Part of the handlebar on the bike is right through his hand. The one on the bottom looks like a real baby to me.
Adorable kit…and yep…looks like the magic of AI on the photos.
They used AI, which to be honest I don’t think they should have done, as it’s not being truthful in the representation of the kit.
Looks like only the first one is real. The others are Ai pictures. Terrible choice. I wouldn’t buy a kit based on that alone.
Kit is cute but the use of AI generated pictures throw me off. If they couldn’t find prototype artists they just should have wait to put pictures. We are battling against so much fakery in the reborn world it’s more like a slap on the face than anything. Disgusting in my opinion.
I just looked it up. All the boy pictures are Ai. Absolutely disgusting. They could have asked an artist and instead did the gross cheap thing. As if there’s a shortage of reborn artists.
And it isn’t even representative of the kit. It’s completely fake and hurting artists.
If this is the way the sculptor wants to present her kits going forward, I’m not buying anything else from her.
Adorable kit, use of AI is extremely concerning and disappointing to me
I hate that Ai was used for the kit listings.
I think the pictures of the little girl represent the actual kit.
They do. However, a couple of those pictures have also been edited. And honestly, if she’s taking the easy way out with these, I wouldn’t trust the rest of the pictures either.
Adorable kit. I preordered one. But it definitely bothers me that they are using AI pics to promote the kit. Irresistables had the AI pics on their facebook but deleted it. Hopefully Macpherson will delete it too. And the sculptor needs to stop using AI. The kit is precious and doesn’t need to be falsely advertised.
@MacPhersonCrafts you can see by this post that it’s hurting the sculptor to list AI pics. You should delete the post from your social media and encourage Sigrid to delete it. Her sculpts don’t need false representation.
Good point. If this is the coming thing, how will distributors even know what kits really look like? It will come back on them for misrepresentation/false advertising.
Exactly. Like choice of legs. Okay. Show us the legs. None of the pictures properly show their legs or their feet.
I’m hoping that this was not done by Sigrid herself but someone she employs to do it for her. If she knowingly did it, I think she just hung herself.
Her pictures have always looked weird to me. She usually does all of her own prototypes with a few from other artists, but in many of her prototype pictures the doll is photoshopped into a scene. Ive never seen the AI but the photoshopping has always thrown me ofd guard
So disappointing.
