This is actually and old topic resurrected, but it was very long so I decided to start it over. Let’s share our studio/workspace pictures. Mine was so trashed when this topic appeared last, that I couldn’t post anything!
Anyway, here are mine. Please share yours too! Even if you just work in the corner of your kitchen, it’s fun to see where all your lovely babies originate!
I was going to post my picture but my work space was a mess. Then I cleaned it. Then I started another baby. THEN, it was messed up again😩 We’re in Door County with kids and grands but when we get back on Friday, I’ll post.
Here’s my little corner of the world. It has 21 cubbies and a double cabinet. New lighting has been installed overhead since these pictures were taken and I have added an additional OTT lamp. The little striped pillow in the basket belongs to my chihuahua. She always hangs out either behind or under my work station. I couldn’t resist including a shot of her too.
Oh man you guys are so professional! I sculpt on a 12x12 ceramic tile in the corner of my desk in a very, very messy room. This is all I dare show you haha!
Don’t worry you guys. When I was your age, I did all my drawing sitting on my bed. It didn’t slow me down a bit! I wrote stories there too, on an old typewriter. If I wanted to sew anything I had to share the sewing table with my Aunt. And my room was always a disaster. I was just happy I had a room of my own. So many of my friends had to share space with siblings. When you get your own place, you can arrange it so you have more room for your interests. I find that “art space” is an essential for me because otherwise it will take up the entire house.
I am trying desperately to figure out what you have on the white board (I think it’s a white board). It looks like lists of something… I know, my curiousity is a pain in the neck, but I keep trying to see what all those lines after lines of writing could possible be. Please enlighten me!
